Whilst in a rented cottage I missed a step leading from the kitchen to the porch and fell and fractured my arm and injured my shoulder. Can I claim for this?

I was recently on holiday in a rented cottage. After being there for two hours we were leaving the cottage when I missed a small step leading from the kitchen to the main entrance porch. My foot was half on the step and half off and I could not regain my balance and I fell on the tiled floor and fractured my upper arm and injured my shoulder. The kitchen and porch were tiled in the same coloured stone tile, no indication or marking to show different levels on opening kitchen door. This was reported to the owners of the cottage and I was taken to hospital to be treated. Can I claim for this?
