I slipped on the top step of stairs leading down to a restaurant and was badly bruised. Can I claim?
I slipped on the top step of some stairs leading into a below ground restaurant. I badly bruised my leg and backside and was in discomfort for several weeks. Others that I have spoken to about this say that the same thing has happened to them in the same place. Can I claim?
If the area upon which you slipped is occupied by the Restaurant then you may well be able to claim against them if the steps were slippery.
